After Hurricane Katrina, many came with good intentions just as many didn't -- some came to help, a vast many others to profit. This created a climate where Natives had to fend for themselves and fight for what was theirs and theirs alone.

Pierre Bouchard is one of two reigning patriarchs of the New Orleans syndicate influencing politics, business and crime. Faced with the dwindling prospects for succession, the organization's senior leaders must recruit new members to fill their ranks and ensure the way of life continues.
Clip 03
Jude Newman has spent most of his life getting in trouble. After spending some time incarcerated, he is now trying to do things right. But just as he is starting to live legitimately, his brother is senselessly killed. With barely enough money for the funeral, he reluctantly accepts help from the Creole Mafia who in exchange needs his help in eliminating the killer.
